FRIENDS OF ST ANN'S HEATH (FOSAH)
Our Parent Association (PTA) known as 'FOSAH' is a group of parents who volunteer to organise and run social and fundraising events throughout the year for you and your family to enjoy.
The money raised enables the school to purchase additional items, from which our children will benefit. The staff, with the agreement of our Co-Head Teachers, then select the items that are required, recent purchases have included IPads for the school, shade sails for the playground and The Trim Trail. We feel that FOSAH has a valuable role to play in the life of the school, not only as helpers and fundraisers, but also as a way of helping parents meet each other and learn more about our school community.
The committee normally meets once every half term. Sub-committees are then created for larger projects and may meet at other times. Even if parents are unable to join meetings, there are lots of ways to help in the planning and supporting of individual events. We are really keen to bring together more parents as helpers so that we are not reliant on the small committee to organise all the events. Your help, however small, is really valuable to us.
We really appreciate the time that parents give to St Ann's Heath and we thank you for your support.
