Online Safety
Our children are growing up in a world of ever-changing technology. Being online is an integral part of children's lives. Social media, games, websites and apps can all be accessed through a number of devices - all of which form an important part of the children's online world. However, the Internet is always changing, and being able to keep up-to-date with your children’s use of technology can be a challenge. You may sometimes feel that they have better technical skills than you do, however they still need advice and protection when it comes to managing their lives online.
Keeping children safe online is everyone's responsibility, both school and home. Through our Computing curriculum, we regularly teach the children about some of the dangers posed by online activity and how to stay safe online. Children are encouraged to talk about any issues they are facing and are given guidance on how to ask for help when needed.
