World Book Day 2024
What a wonderful World Book Day! We were absolutely blown away by the effort and thought that went into the children’s vocabulary costumes. We loved seeing how creative the children were, coming dressed in such a range of words — from monochrome to blizzard!
We were also very impressed by the 'book in a jar' entries that shared the stories of many different books.

Thank you to the families who were able to make the Book Fair. Together, we raised £288.60 to spend on books for our library.
The children loved the day and reading was well-promoted. Here is what they had to say about World Book Day:
"We celebrate World Book Day to encourage more people to read for fun!" - Year 3
"I liked the book in a jar competition. I made mine out of clay." - Year 3
